Taliban flag painted on former US embassy walls in Kabul

An Afghan vendor added, “I am selling flags here, before I was selling Afghanistan national flags, so now the Taliban come and removed those flags as they selected this white flag, which has a logo as Islamic Emirate, now I am selling these flags and it is good, it helps me earn income. The Islamic Emirate paint it, they removed those flags and painted the flag of Islamic Emirate.”

“It was the US embassy here and now this place has been bettered, brighten, the streets are open, the boundaries walls also removed, the people can move very easily and comfort, before it was very traffic and the vehicles could not get out even for hours. Regarding the Taliban, personally I am very happy that our women observed veil or Hijab, and my suggestion as a mother, I demand from this government to decrease food rate, and our children join jobs, until we and our children survive from poverty, our country must secure.” Kabul resident stated.
