Afghan former warlord Ismail Khan, commented, “When they understood that the Taliban don’t want to capture Herat. We hope that after two or three days our advances must be like to repel the Taliban from all four part of the city.
“It is about two to three weeks past which is conflict here and we are in frontline, and I am warning the Taliban that they are not understood yet, they think easily that they come here, if from Pakistan or if they come from any government. let them come we have growth in Herat city, this is the city of saints, this is the city of Mujahideen, this city is proud of Afghanistan, and they could never capture this”, An Afghan militiaman said.
