Afghans flee conflicts as govt forces clash with Taliban in Kandahar

An Afghan displaced man said, “My half of home members left here until the security get well here, or if peace come, they must end to the conflicts, we are tired of war, it being 50 years past that we suffer war. We suffer problems even right now, coming to the city, they landed mortars on us, what to do I am being forced to leave, if we don’t force to leave, we don’t need to leave.

“I was in Esri Kalah, I wanted to build a warehouse there, thee was clashes, the clashes were launched in Gori, I shift my home when I come in the evening, there was heavy war, now the security forces pushed them back. Yesterday there was conflicts, two of my cousins were killed in the clashes”, said Ghulam Nabi, Kandahar’s resident.
