Afghanistan government imposes curfew to hinder Taliban advance

Afghan security forces were seen enforcing a curfew newly instated by Afghan government in a bid to hinder Taliban infiltration in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, on Sunday, July 26, 2021. The curfew is set to last a month and applies cross the country, barring the country with movement banned between 22:00 and 04:00 local time. AFGHAN MULTIMEDIA AGENCY

An Afghan security commander said; “According to high profiles officials order, including ministry of Interior affairs, the Balkh police chief who said inform all the people about curfew starts from tomorrow night, no one can go out after 10:00pm”.

“The people who are unrestrained, and those who walk around at night, this method can some incidents which is happening at night, it is very good task, they did good to curfew”. Explained, An Afghan resident.
