Hospitals full as medicine shortages and malnutrition plague country

Hangama is a mother who said, my child suffering from malnutrition, and doesn’t like breast-feeding, even though I don’t have to breastfeed, 6 days past that I am in this hospital, also before my child was hospitalized in Kishm hospital for ten days to get weight but unfortunately, my child lost weight and does not get fat, the hospital told me to move the child to Faizabad hospital, I am here in Faizabad hospital, here also told me that my daughter does not get weight yet, her tongue is dry and always shouting.

father of a child explained I come today, I have a child who is suffering malnutrition, I bring him to this hospital. Before the Taliban the situation was good, but all Afghanistan’s situation is a crisis, and not just we suffering problems.

Mothers who have died due to malnutrition, its basic reason is because of non-activation of those institutions which were activated during the US invasion, now they don’t have many activities, we suffer health difficulties, Naziruddin Nazar, Deputy of Public Health stated.
